Coaching Staff Grows

The New Jersey Spartans are proud to welcome Coach Cavel Walker as the newest Offensive Assistant.  Cavel Walker always knew he wanted to coach football.  As a player, he had a drive for the game and was eager to learn.  The most important thing was to understand the team aspect.  As a football coach, he always cared enough to know and understand his players.  Walker comes from a “Bend, but don’t break” system at Lehigh Valley.  He coached Pop Warner football for Newark Eastward, East Orange Wildcats, and East Orange Jaguars.  He continued coaching on a High School level when he coach Union High School in NJ and John I Leanard High School in Florida.  His career went to another level when he entered the Minor League Football world and spent some time coaching with the Newark Saints and NJ Longhorns.  Walker looks forward to joining the NJ Spartans to bring a great deal of passion and knowledge to the organization.  He agrees to not look back, but will look for hard work and dedication as he will give the organization and the team the same.  Understanding that by any means, we are Spartans!
