New Jersey Spartans Kick-Off ’11 Season
The New Jersey Spartans held a succesful Annual Member Orientation, in Bloomfield, NJ. With a total of 53 Players in attendance, Spartans Head Coach, Kevin Moss and Spartans General Manager, Charmaine Moss discussed items, such as the 2011 Calendar of Events, Upcoming Youth Camps, Community Service Events, and the newly added Spartan Family Day.
The Orientation was pleased to have returning Guest Speaker, Dr. Nicholas Stabile of the Family Chiropractic Center in Nutley, NJ. While Dr. Nick spoke on Health and Nutrition at last year’s Orientation, he spoke on Fitness and Conditioning this year. After being with the Spartans Organization for a year, he wants to focus on the duration of the football players throughout the 4 quarters of a game.
The Spartans were pleased to have Mr. Tracy Alford, Commissioner of their current league, the Big North East Football Federation, BNEFF. Mr. Alford came to the orientation with great energy and took the time to speak with the players regarding great plans the league has for the teams. A big upcoming event would be the BNEFF All-Star Game, scheduled for May in Virginia Beach, VA. He also touched on a few new tracking features the league will implement this year, which will focus on taking players to another level.
The New Jersey Spartans are very pleased at the outcome and success of the Orientation. While all players weren’t able to make it, the excitement was definitely felt by all. We look forward to having a successful year and ask that you stay tuned for more to come from your New Jersey Spartans organization.
