As a player, I feel as though we should move on and understand we still have eight games left to play. As a team, we need to regroup and understand our motives for playing football as a team. My mind is set on a goal of finishing the season 8-2. This is because I know that after losing the past two games, we have the ability to raise our intensity level, and cooperate together as a team everyday for the remainder of the season. I have faith in our coaching staff as well to come together and figure out what they can do to help us achieve that goal. I feel like anything less than a championship is failure, but by only losing two games we have not failed yet. My encouragement has come from my grandfather who told me that the season has just begun, and you need to leave the past behind us and focus on the future. I received encouragement from many Spartan fans who still believe we can get it done. What keeps me going through the pain of losing is a promise and commitment that I made and still owe to the New Jersey Spartans organization. At the end of every game, as I see myself taking a loss with my teammates, regardless of the outcome, I would not give up the strong bond and fun that we experience by playing the game. It is well worth it. IT IS TIME TO KEEP OUR EYES ON THE GOAL.

I dont have alot to say on the matter, all I can say is this: what keeps me going is not wanting to let my brothers down, in hopes that me giving 100% will inspire them to give 100% so we can all play to our potential and WIN. On another note the first to questions are kind of aggrivating because we are only 0-2 we have 8 games left, we have a chance to go 8-2 and I plan on doing whatever I can to help the TEAM, the SPARTANS accomplish that goal.

Well the answer to all these questions to me was best said by Confucius “Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising after every fall”. We are brothers of Sparta now and being 0-2 doesn’t mean we gives up, it just means that id hate to be the next team we face as a “UNIT”.
